What is Cosmic Tides?
Cosmic Tides is the zone of the sky and the inner weather: a set of free instruments for reading the rhythms overhead and inside. The Moon has phases, stations, and hours. The Sun throws wind and storm across the planetary field. The planets appear to pause and retrace. Sound has shapes used for centuries to quiet the mind, and the year turns through eight old gates. Each tool below is a working instrument, not a decoration.
- Moon phases and lunar cycles: the current phase, and what is coming
- Planetary Hours: the Chaldean day
- Geomancy tool: the science of the sand
- Lunar Mansions: the 28 stations of the Moon, from the Arabic astronomical tradition
- Planetary hours: the traditional Chaldean timing of the day
- Space weather: live solar wind, Kp index, and aurora conditions
- Retrograde tracker: which planets are retrograde now, and until when
- Healing frequencies: Solfeggio and other tones for meditation
- Sacred geometry: interactive patterns for contemplation
- Wheel of the Year: the eight sabbats and their rituals
- Dream journal: record dreams and trace their symbols
The three instruments of the Arabic science of the sky, the Fal-e Hafez oracle, the lunar mansions, the planetary hours, and geomancy, are gathered under the House of Wisdom in the Cosmic Library.
